The OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a government-backed initiative that helps UK businesses cover the cost of installing electric vehicle charging points. It offers up to £350 per charging socket, for up to 40 sockets per applicant (including across multiple sites).

That’s up to £14,000 in savings – and £15,000 for small accommodation or charity settings.

The grant is available to:

Registered businesses, charities and public sector organisations

Businesses with off-street parking for staff or fleets

Those located in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland

What's Included in the Grant?

Note: the grant does not cover rapid chargers or on-street installations.

  • Up to £350 per charging socket

  • Maximum of 40 sockets across one or multiple sites
